Professional Experience
Kyle graduated from the Southern Alberta Insitute of Technology with a diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology. Kyle also holds an Autodesk certification as an AutoCAD Certified User. Kyle is currently working towards his accreditation as a Certified Engineering Technologist and plans to further his accreditation to Professional Technologist in the years to come. While working with Autodesk Civil 3D Kyle has gained proficiences in creating engineering drawings, earthworks volumetrics, base design options, report figures, road design, flood mitigation design, erosion and sediment control plans, parking lot design, storm water managment plans, subdivision design, trail design, retaining wall design, underground utility design and various other technical skills.Prior to completing his Engineering Design and Drafting Technology diploma, Kyle worked in the oil and gas industry as well as the automotive industry for 9 years. These years have contributed to Kyles' professional development and experience adapting to various business settings.

Grassi Lakes Redevelopment - Main Lot, AFPT, Alberta, 2022-2023 - Produced parking lot design options for client aprroval. Created approval drawings, construction drawings, and as built construction drawings. Construction administration responsibilities included: construction inspection, field reporting, and assisting general construction execution.
Pointe - Brulee Culvert Replacement, Corbo INC, Shippagan, New Brunswick, 2022 - Developed wetland catchment areas and existing upstream drainage infrastructure to aid in hydraulic analysis. Produced regulatory approval drawings for DFO applications, construction drawings for the tidal culvert replacement, construction sequencing plan and dewatering plan.
Castle Road Subdivision, Wakeford Developments LTD, British Columbia, 2021 - 2022 - Developed storm water managment plans and existing conditions plans to inform initial road design. Worked with surveyors to develop a lot layout and road allowance. Produced construction drawings that included: SWP, road design, signage plans, underground utility design. Upon conclusion of the project, construction record drawings were produced and submitted to the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Cardinal River Headwaters Trail Refurbishment, AFPT, Alberta, 2021-2022 - Performed trail assessment and provided detailed figures of improvement for approximately 13kms of existing sub alpine - alpine OHV trail system. Produced detail design of trail improvements and construction drawings for phase 1 trail improvements.
Shambhala Intersection Upgrade, Shambhala Music Festival LTD, Salmo, BC, 2021 – Produced base design figures and engineering drawings for an intersection upgrade in accordance with British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
