Tegan Wherley, E.I.T.
Background
Tegan Wherley has been interested in engineering and designing the world around us since 8th grade. Her path bounced from houses to transit and transportation before landing on what she gravitates toward most: the analysis and presentation of data. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Resilient Infrastructure Management from UBC in 2021.
At SweetTech, Tegan works across GIS mapping, document control, data analysis, programming, and CADD and 3D modelling support, spanning engineering, administration, and IT. She describes herself as a technical translator, someone who bridges the gap between a technical explanation and the vision in someone's head. She likes to see ideas become physical objects in the real world.
Tegan grew up on a farm in Northern BC. Outside work, she crafts in just about every medium, from a cake to a cabinet, a tiara to a pair of trousers. She plays alto saxophone, flute, and violin, and in winter she skis and skates.
