Andres Ocejo, P.Eng.
Background
Andres Ocejo specializes in geotechnical design, geo-hazard investigation, and material testing across development sectors ranging from residential to mining and resource work. Most of his experience has been in Alberta and eastern British Columbia, focusing on foundation design, slope stability, and embankment retention for large earthwork projects in transportation, mining, and municipal infrastructure.
His work includes geotechnical modelling of slope instabilities, dewatering programs, retention systems, pit wall monitoring, and excavation planning. He designs mechanically stabilized earth structures and foundation systems from shallow foundations to micro-piles and soil nailing. Andres has completed hundreds of geotechnical investigations and managed large installations with their associated QA/QC programs. He has built mobile laboratory testing facilities for clients and brings extensive experience in determining sedimentary soil material parameters.
