Lori Dyck, B.Sc.
Background
Lori Dyck grew up camping and hiking in the mountains with her family, which led her to environmental science at the University of Calgary. She participated in field schools in the South Pacific and Belize, and early in her career worked across field, lab, and office settings on projects including water quality monitoring throughout the Bow River Basin and northern Alberta.
At SweetTech, Lori coordinates projects from initiation through completion and manages proposal development. She handles project billings, budget tracking, staff and fleet scheduling, field program planning, and document control. As Proposal Coordinator, she conducts bid searches, compiles competitive proposals, and ensures submissions meet client requirements and remain compliant. Her role requires balancing technical requirements with logistics, cost controls, and timely delivery.
Lori lives in Calgary with her husband, two teenagers, and their Australian labradoodle Tilly. She and her husband take an annual anniversary trip and have travelled to approximately 30 countries, with Croatia, Italy, New York, and Bali among their favourites.
