Kyle Shave, C.E.T.

Kyle Shave spent nine years working in the oil and gas and automotive industries before transitioning to civil engineering. That experience taught him how to adapt to different business settings and gave him a solid understanding of how contractors, owners, and consultants work together on successful projects. He earned his Engineering Design and Drafting diploma from SAIT and has built his career around designing and constructing civil projects, particularly in environmentally sensitive locations.

At SweetTech, Kyle works as a designer, contract administrator, and project manager on recreational site refurbishments including campgrounds, day use areas, trails, and boat launches in Provincial Parks and other sensitive areas. He handles quality control, cost tracking, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and document control throughout project delivery. His practical approach to problem solving helps him tackle hydrology, slope stability, geotechnical work, and in-stream construction across Alberta and British Columbia.

Kyle enjoys camping and riding motorcycles.
