Town of Drumheller Spray Park Improvements

Centennial Park is a popular recreational area and outdoor event destination in the downtown core of Drumheller. As the community of Drumheller was updating their flood protection dikes, it was logical to make upgrades to the nearby Centennial Park in conjunction with the Downtown Dike construction. SweetTech was retained by the town’s Resiliency and Flood Mitigation Office for the Downtown Dike Improvements project which included upgrading the adjacent Centennial Park.

SweetTech was engaged in multidisciplinary coordination with other professionals to design upgrades to Centennial Park including retaining walls, asphalt and concrete pathways, landscaping, and installation of a new irrigation system. Throughout construction, SweetTech worked closely with the Contractor to coordinate construction of the Centennial Park upgrades with the ongoing Downtown Dike construction.

In addition, SweetTech was retained by the Town of Drumheller to perform engineering design, tendering, and construction management for the execution of the Rotary Spray Park sanitary line relocation.
