Description

SweetTech was retained by Tourmaline Oil Corp. to perform detailed engineering design and construction monitoring services for a gabion hydraulic drop structure at a new natural gas processing facility. The drop structure transports surface runoff water down a steep 2H:1V slope. The Q25 design flow is over 1 cubic-metre per second with a structure design life of 25 years.

SweetTech prepared IFC drawings, a 3D CAD model, and provided ongoing construction inspection, monitoring, and support in the field during the construction of the drop structure.

The project was featured in EGBC’s Innovation magazine for May-June 2019.
