Castle Road Subdivision

Castle Road Subdivision is a residential development located in Gibsons, British Columbia.​ SweetTech was retained by Wakeford Developments to provide support in the design, construction management, and regulatory aspects of the project. ​

SweetTech’s responsibilities included: coordination of permit applications with Ministry of Transportation and Transit and with utilities including watermains, sanitary forcemains, TELUS, BC Hydro, and FortisBC; construction coordination support, including submissions to MoTI; construction support including coordination meetings, construction layout drawings, material quantity take-offs, preparation of Issued for Construction Drawings, and EOR Construction Assurance Inspections & Verifications; field reviews throughout construction to verify that the work has been constructed to meet the design and MoTI specifications; and reviewing all routine testing reporting. ​

Throughout construction, SweetTech will also review proposed design changes from the Wakeford and submit Record Drawings to MoTI that reflect the final design. SweetTech is also responsible for MoTI submission at the close-out of the project.
