Building Flood Insurance Claim

SweetTech was retained by local business to complete an engineering assessment of storm water flood damage to underground refrigeration lines.

A 3D laser scan survey of the retail store floor was completed to analyze the grades. Using the survey data, SweetTech was to complete a hydraulic model to show the extents of the flooding. SweetTech also uncovered the underfloor refrigerant lines for visual inspection of the lines and sampling of the soil under the building slab was completed.

Using municipality as-built data, historical climate data, satellite imagery, and 3D laser scan SweetTech was able to provide an engineering assessment and professional opinion related to the extents of the flooding damage for insurance purposes.
