Description
Boulton Creek Campground is a popular campground located in the Kananaskis region. Due to an increase in patronage, Alberta Parks decided to expand the campground.
SweetTech was retained by Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) to provide project management services for the construction of a full-service campground loop. The campground is an expansion to the existing Boulton Creek Campground located in Kananaskis.
The new campground loop has 34 full-service stalls (water, electricity, & sanitary) along with shower and bathroom facilities. The scope of construction included: clearing, utility installation (water, sanitary, electrical), sceptic tank installation, gravel pad construction and road construction. SweetTech worked with Alberta Parks improving an existing design to meet the project goals and client’s vision for the area.
SweetTech’s scope of work included: concept and detailed design, on-site construction coordinator, progress reporting, and contract management.
