West Nose Creek Realignment

SweetTech was retained by IronClad Earthworks to prepare a care of water plan and a stamped channel activation sequence for the initial operations of returning natural flows to a realigned channel section of West Nose Creek.​

SweetTech drew on their many years of experience to develop an accelerated channel activation sequence to ensure the contractor could meet required project timelines and reduce environmental impacts.​

SweetTech provided full time care of water monitoring support during the channel activation to ensure compliance with Care of Water (CoW) plans and regulatory permitting. The sequencing of work, combined with fall time onsite monitoring allowed the channel activation to be completed in 5 days, about 1 week ahead of schedule.
